Hi, I'm Dawson, and welcome to FitME—your go-to guide for making health and fitness simple.
Growing up, I struggled with my weight and didn’t decide to make a change until 10th grade. Back then, I was overwhelmed by the complexity of fitness guides and diet plans. In my desperation to lose weight, I turned to unhealthy methods simply because I didn’t know any better. That difficult experience ignited a passion in me to help others avoid the same mistakes.
During my senior year, I was part of a team that won the high school state championship, and I went on to play baseball at the college level. Even then, I was undersized and clueless about fitness and nutrition.
About five years ago, after I stopped playing baseball and started studying at the University of Oklahoma, I began taking my fitness and nutrition seriously. Now, after years of trial and error, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned.
As I delved deeper into fitness, I realized how hard it is to find straightforward, easy-to-follow fitness guides. So many of them overcomplicate things, restrict your eating habits, and charge you for access to their so-called “expert” methods. This frustrating search for simple and practical advice further motivated me to create something different.
That’s why I created FitME—Fit Made Easy. My mission is to teach you how to integrate health and fitness into your busy life in a way that's healthy, sustainable, and easy to understand. This blog is more than just advice; it’s a resource to help you reach your goals without sacrificing the things you love.
